Monarchs Across Georgia (MAG) is a committee of the Environmental Education Alliance.  MAG works together with teachers, students, families, communities, businesses and others to study Monarch butterflies and restore butterfly habitat across the state. Its mission is to inspire future caretakers of the natural environment by educating about monarch butterflies and other pollinators.

Calling All Butterfly Enthusiasts!

Fernbank Science Center, in partnership with Monarch Watch, is collecting native Georgia milkweed seeds in order to replant the habitat of monarch butterflies.  They need your help to collect WILD milkweed seeds (not from your home garden).  Click here for more information on where to send your seeds.

Milkweeds are currently producing seed pods. Now is the time to collect!
