Conference Presentation Proposals Invited

Present your innovative designs, effective programs or resources, and creative collaborations to a statewide audience at EEA's 2027 Conference, March 11-12, at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. Your options include leading an interactive 75-minute presentation or workshop, giving a 15-minute TED-style talk, or participating in a poster session. Proposals are due by October 30, 2026, at midnight Eastern Time. Prospective presenters will be notified of decisions either way by December 31, 2026.

Proposals are also welcome for Pre-Conference Workshops on Wednesday March 10 and for Field Experiences or Environmental Stewardship Projects (off-site) on Saturday, March 13.
A limited number of Pre-Conference Workshops will be selected to take place at the Kendeda Center (where the Conference will be held) and the surrounding Eco-Commons. These workshops must include lunch from Georgia Tech Catering if longer than half-day, and must engage participants in an extended, immersive and interactive professional learning experience. Typically, such workshops result in a certification or micro-credential for participants who successfully complete them. Field experiences and environmental stewardship projects will take place off campus on Saturday, at various locations throughout the metro Atlanta area. Please consider hosting such an event if there is an authentic need to be met and if you can demonstrate replicable strategies and approaches for organizing students and communities to undertake similar projects. |
