Join us to increase student engagement in Science and STEM by taking the class outside! The first in a series of 3 day-long, face-to-face PL events, this exciting workshop will explore ways to integrate STEM with outdoor learning, using the “3-Dimensional” approach with which the Georgia Standards of Excellence in Science were intended to be taught. Participants will engage in interactive lessons for grades K-12 that blend science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in schoolyard settings where students can observe natural phenomena and conduct authentic investigations to make sense of core ideas. Participants will receive resources to enhance their teaching practice, including access to curated websites and sample lessons. $99 alone or discounted if combined with other workshops in the series.
