Hannah Penn

Hannah has a bachelors degree from the UGA Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources with two degrees: Fisheries and Wildlife and Natural Resources, Recreation, and Tourism.  Her first job in Environmental Education was at Panola Mountain State Park as the Interpretive Ranger where she worked to promote the use of environmental stewardship in the state park by creating, leading, and promoting a variety of programs and service projects for all age ranges.  She also worked at another of Metro Atlanta’s 3 Monadnocks, Stone Mountain, where she was a member of the Environmental Education staff leading school programs, managing certain natural resource projects in natural district spaces within the park, and providing professional development workshops to educators across the state.  She currently works for Fulton County Public Works as an Environmental Education Coordinator providing water quality and water conservation education to all of Fulton County’s residents.  In her free time Hannah enjoys paddling, hiking, biking, camping, and exploring with her husband, twin daughters, and son.
