Field Excursions for EEA Members

 

Get outdoors on a field trip with fellow EEA members! We have scouted some of the best natural spots in the Southeast to visit. Trips are available to EEA members and in some cases, children of members. If you are not currently a member, you may join EEA when you register.

 UPDATE 7/15/19

We will have to cancel this year's trip to Nickajack Lake due to a change in our trip-leader's availability for the event. Please keep an eye out for details on our next Member Field Excursion trip which will explore the wonders of the Broxton Rocks Preserve in southeast GA.  November 9, 2019

-August 16-18th, 2019 (Cancelled) - Paddle across the lake to Nickajack Cave to see 30,000 gray bats emerge. Paddle under a full moon back to Shellmound Campground.

-February 17, 2019 - Wolf Creek Trout Lily Preserve Tour, Whigham, Georgia

-August 25-26th, 2018 - Paddle across the lake to Nickajack Cave to see 30,000 gray bats emerge. Paddle under a full moon back to Shellmound Campground. (Annual trip, look for registration to open in June of 2019!)

-Tuesday, February 20th, 2018 - Manatee Dive Trip Crystal River, Florida & Dunnellon, Florida

-Saturday, August 19th, 2017 - 5-mile paddle trip on Chattahoochee Bend Newnan, Georgia with the Park Paddlers Club Challenge with Georgia State Parks. 

-Saturday, September 30th, 2017 -  Kayak Trip at Lake Allatoona in Acworth, Georgia
