GROW OUTDOORS: outdoor learning from preschool to highschool
Join educators from across Georgia for a day of hands-on sessions that focus on engaging students in outdoor settings. Learn how to enhance your outdoor classroom or make use of any outdoor space that you have. Outdoor learning for all ages is what we are all about!
This year we are taking it to the coast!

October 4th, 2013 ~ Oatland Island Wildlife Center ~ Savannah
The symposium cost, $85/members and $105/nonmembers, includes lunch and a full day of sessions. We will also be offering a Saturday workshop. The combined hours will provide the opportunity for one PLU. We are excited to have the symposium at such a great facility and look forward to many new and returning participants.

Are you interested in presenting a session? This year's theme focuses on outdoor learning form all ages, from preschool to highschool (and beyond). We are searching for sessions focusing on the utilization, creation,and maintenance, of outdoor learning spaces. Priority will be giving to sessions that take place OUTSIDE (this is the Outdoor Learning Symposium after all). Be creative!
If you are interested, please submit a session proposal form. The deadline for proposal submissions is May 31st.
By the way, it's never to early to start thinking about the COOL Awards: Nominate a co-worker or program for the Outstanding Outdoor Learning Educator or Outstanding Outdoor Learning Program.
