Join us for a workshop that will include professional development and collaboration among volunteers and instructors of all EEA programs. Do you currently lead workshops or courses for EEA's ATEEG Certification, Council of Outdoor Learning, Monarchs Across Georgia, or EE Guidelines Institute? Or would you like to become an EEA instructor or facilitator in the future? Are you an EEA Board member, advisory group member, committee chair or volunteer? Then this is the workshop for you! |
EEA invites all volunteers, advisors, instructors and facilitators to attend a leadership workshop and collaboration session on Monday October 9, 2023. Both current and prospective volunteers are welcome. Whether you teach a course for ATEEG certification or lead a Monarchs Across Georgia (MAG) workshop about habitat restoration; provide technical assistance for schoolyard design or curate instructional materials; present sessions at our Conference, Outdoor Learning Symposium, Climate Education Summit, or create content for our Equity and Inclusion workshops - you are vital to EEA's mission and vision.
The Leadership Workshop is intended to serve three purposes:
As a result of this workshop, we hope there will be more communication and sense of connection among volunteers who lead EEA's far-flung programs, greater awareness of and commitment to our collective mission; and improved effectiveness and innovation. We also hope that this workshop will let current volunteers know they are valued and appreciated, while encouraging prospective new volunteers to get involved. For those engaged as instructors in day-long delivery of EEA workshops or courses, this session may also serve as the pre-requisite for payment of honoraria for future invited presentations. We are grateful to NAAEE for partial funding of this workshop.
This workshop is free, lunch is provided, and parking allowance will be available.

- a professional development opportunity for presenters and instructors at all levels of experience
