CAB PORTAL
Member Responsibilities

The members of the ATEEG Certification Advisory Board (CAB) have the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure programmatic and operational activities of the ATEEG program are aligned with NAAEE standards and guidelines
  • Communicate ATEEG activities and accomplishments to the EEA Board of Directors
  • Assess and evaluate the ATEEG program
  • Ensure standards, requirements, and procedures are upheld to maintain NAAEE accreditation
  • Design and deliver core courses
  • Direct the activities of the program administrator
  • Serve as mentors to participants working on their independent study projects
  • Review independent study and recertification submissions and provide feedback
  • Review completed files and make recommendations to the certifying agent
  • Conduct quarterly meetings
  • Recruit participants for the courses
  • Promote the ATEEG program
  • Prepare and submit grant applications, jointly developed with EEA, to fund the ATEEG program. CAB members should include representatives from formal education, EE non-profits, federal or state resource agencies, higher education institutes, EE non-government organizations, business and industry, and graduates of accredited EE certification programs.
