ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ALLIANCE

Advancing the field since 1992
What is the Environmental Education Alliance?
The Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) is a coalition of organizations and educators who envision a world where people and nature thrive. Since 1992, EEA has been working toward the day when every child grows up connected to nature, every person is environmentally-literate, and every community is motivated and empowered to protect the earth and its inhabitants.

The Power of Environmental Education: Why We Do What We Do

Do the children where you live have opportunities to explore and connect with nature? Do they have the knowledge and skills to identify and design solutions for local environmental problems? Are they confident of their ability to make a difference in the world based on conducting their own environmental projects? This is what drives our work at the Environmental Education Alliance: a vision of children who grow up loving nature, environmentally-literate, and living in communities where people think critically and make decisions to protect the planet and all its inhabitants.
